When I was a young man, 15 years old, I damaged a customer's aircraft. It was an older Cessna 210, and it was parked in a small Port-A-Port "T-Hangar" and as I put the aircraft back in after washing it, it got away from me because the back of the hangar was slightly sloped. The elevator was slightly bent although not damaged but the plastic end cap was cracked and broken.
"Oh my god," I thought to myself, "this is terrible." Yes, it was, but it was my fault, and now my responsibility. There went a week's worth of profit - ouch. But alas, it could have been worse.
